low shower pressure poor soundproofing
I wasn't thrilled about a couple of things . the shower pressure was practically nonexistent. it felt more like i was standing under a leaky faucet than taking a proper shower. also, the soundproofing wasn't great. I could hear every little noise from the street outside, and , made it hard to get a decent night's sleep street noise, poor soundproofing

surprisingly lovely stay!
clean room great location delicious breakfast reasonable price
My room was clean and had everything i needed. It was located really well. breakfast was delicious, costing only £6.99, an absolute bargain really. their cellar bar was quite nice too, and not too expensive at all.
The tv remote in my room didn't work though staff said they would try to fix it. They couldn't, and i had no tv all weekend, it was not great.

The breakfast included cereal and yogurt, which gave a balanced start to the day. the bar offered regular beers and real ale, providing variety. bar snacks included oven bottom cheese and onion barms. They were quite tasty.

My room included an iron and ironing board. a hairdryer was also provided, as was a kettle with tea and coffee. the wardrobe was spacious with ample hangers. It allowed for neat storage of belongings.

The hosts were very polite and helpful, and available when needed. check-in was easy and pleasant. The staff were quick to assist. the manager was also polite and helpful, ensuring requests were handled swiftly.

the room was clean and comfy. i found the bed comfortable, and i slept well. the location is very convenient. i liked that i could come and go as i pleased.

i enjoyed the location near the winter gardens. the staff were friendly. the hotel had easy access to the town centre.
the bathroom was not in the room. i had to walk down the common corridor to access the bathroom. parking was very difficult with no provision for parking.

The breakfast had a good selection.
The hotel felt dated. I had to carry my luggage up three flights of stairs. The shower barely worked. It was more like a trickle (i really did not expect this).

Breakfast included many choices. My room remained clean. The location proved quite central to nearby attractions. I booked for next year.
